Thanks to Prof. Dr. Pradeeps groundbreaking research at IIT Madras in the field of molecular and nanoscale materials, millions of people in India can now benefit from sustainable and affordable access to clean drinking water, which has been cleaned of pollutants using nanochemical-based water filters. In a subsequent talk, the awardee himself reported on his research.
