I like the advice to field practice more than just max distance crushes. I'll have to add some diversity to my routine.

Forehand looks great! The form work is paying off. Great stuff to try in the field to spice up practice, keep up the good content :)

Hi Joel, It was great to meet you at Masters last weekend. My son Collin and I were hoping you would get a spot. 😞 Keep up the hard work and thanks for the videos!

Thanks Nick! I was sad to miss that one, but it was still a great week! Probably a much-needed break honestly :)

Thanks for showing this Joel. I always wonder how a professionals field work varies from mine. I like the low ceiling idea.

Surprised not to see any distance drives. I find that with as touchy as distance drives can be at different elevations, it is good just to see the full flight of my discs at some point. Certainly good to work on specific things, it just seems like with the size of the courses being played that would always be a part of field routine.

Most of the discs I was throwing in this field were distance drivers. This field work session also happened on Tuesday, which was before anyone had seen the course. Regardless of what kind of disc you are throwing in the field though, it will help you no matter what. If you don't have a big enough area to throw drivers, use only putters. Then when you go back to throwing drivers, you will still benefit hugely from the work you did with putters. It's all about training your body, developing muscle memory, and knowing how to control angles.
