The way something is framed has a real effect on how people react to it. People should be very much aware of this and shut the excuses down whenever they appear. If a 20 year old worker does something offensive, he is a "grown man" who should know better. If a 20 year old college student does something offensive, he is a "poor kid, who didn't know any better". For added effect you then add some typical victim descriptors (minority, gender queer, POC, non binary, muslim etc.) and the person in question gains the legal status of a toddler in some people's minds.

I agree 100% with you concerning not hiring students for their stance on calling for Genocide/Murder/Anti Semitism. These students are no better than the KKK. I do not want to be represented by a BIGOT! Let these Bigots suffer the consequences of their actions.

The war was started over 70 years ago and it was propped up by the United States. There's _plenty_ of "justification" for their resistance, but not so much for their tactics. But that's how those who are being oppressed have to fight. Especially when the other side has more weaponry. That's how the American rebels fought the British Empire. They too were considered "terrorists" for their unconventional war tactics.
