The funkiest tune in the OST.
Featuring: Dubreq Stylophone, Maywa Denki Otamatone, Novation Launchpad Pro, and Kahler Bass Tremolo Bridge.
This was such a fun video to make! It definitely helped ease the wait for Luigi's Mansion 3. Apart from the music side of this project, designing the 3D printed props, modding the Gameboy Horror, and programming the Ableton light show were all very exciting challenges. I definitely packed a lot of different things into this one, let me know in the comments what you'd like to see more of in my future VGM covers!

Thanks man! And I'm glad to hear it fit, the otamatone is practically DESIGNED to be obnoxious so I was worried it wouldn't be worth the gimmick. However, I've seen some inspiring performances, notably by mklachu, where it actually sounded beautiful. Took a billion takes for me to get it to sound passable haha.

Glad you liked the cover 😁 if you have a gameboy color, you can buy a clear shell and a replacement screen cover that says "HORROR" instead of "COLOR". It's a pretty inexpensive and easy mod, just make sure you have a tri wing screwdriver 🤘

I cut the motherboard in half so there would be room for a Raspberry Pi Zero and an lcd screen to fit. Then I recorded the video of the Otamatone head and filmed it playing on the lcd screen.

The Game Boy Horror I made was partially gutted and houses a Raspberry Pi Zero connected to a screen. I filmed the Otamatone and played the video file on the Game Boy Horror. I've actually never ordered from Vat19, which thing are you talking about?

If you just want an ordinary Gameboy Color that looks like the Gameboy Horror, then you can just buy the screen protector and replace it. The one in my video I actually gutted and put a Raspberry Pi inside.
