Hi Nitnit, thanks for your message. You should see some improvement but Profhilo is not the first option we will recommend for deep acne scarring. It may require skin resurfacing treatment for better results. Also, we may recommend subcision treatment to break the scars under the skin.
Hi, is doing prophilo a good preventative aging strategy? I don’t have any lax skin or anything but I have heard that doing these treatments can prevent /slow down aging? Do they stimulate a lot of collagen?
There are other treatments that can stimulate more collagen. Profhilo is a good treatment to deeply hydrate and remodel the skin texture for a more youthful appearance. Speak to your doctor to find out what he/she may recommend to reverse and/or delay signs of premature skin ageing.

Hi Diyanah, thanks for your message. There are other treatments such as energy-based devices such as lasers or Ultherapy or even radiofrequency microneedling treatments. It depends largely on the condition - whether it is due to skin laxity or fatty tissue, or a combination of both. See a doctor and have a discussion with him/her to determine what is best for you.
I have bap for face and neck areas. What is the recommended use on the Décolletage area, i.e needle depth/ layer? Or is there a more suitable product for this area ...it is so hard to treat. Thank you kindly
I don’t know how this can cause necrosis? It’s a pure hyaluronic acid, just like we have naturally in our bodies. I could see an infection if the injector isn’t careful and doesn’t clean properly.
@@colleenmcdermott203 Although rare, necrosis that may arise from injectables can happen when the substance interrupts or reduces blood flow in the face. When there is reduced or no blood flow, the area with insufficient blood circulation will die, hence leading to necrosis.
Hi I had mine done 6 days ago but noticed one side already looks amazing , my other side no so much I look like I have an odd face , is this normal? Will it balance out ? It’s my first treatment

Hi James, Profhilo can help to reduce appearance of uneven skin texture but it may not be the most suitable treatment. Perhaps you can seek a 2nd opinion to have your condition properly assessed and have a discussion with the doctor about your previous treatments.
The best thing for acne scarring is a) Fraxel 1927 and 1550 and then b) Retrieve 0.05% cream (prescription only) . I have used both and my skin (aged 51) looks like I am in my mid 30s.
I saw in the video that you injected in the tear trough or under eye area.. Is it safe to inject there and will this give me a little bit of plumpness for dark circle and hollow?
Hi Anna, thank you for your comment. Although there are 5 main points to inject Profhilo, it can be injected on other areas if the doctors deem fit. It is generally safe to inject on most parts of the face.

I was not aware of any risk to my eyesight. I have now had two treatments and can see the difference. I am pleased with what was done. Was also advised to drink lots of water daily as it helps the treatment.
Hi Jay, thank you for your question. We don't see any issue in undergoing Profhilo treatment if you are using tretinoin. You might have to skip one day of tretinoin after the treatment to avoid any irritation. However, it is best to consult a doctor so that the doctor will be able to tell you the benefits and risks after taking your history.

Hi Guy S, thanks for your question. Doctors will recommend a series of treatment so that the benefits will last longer. During the initial treatment, it is advisable to undergo 2 treatments, each held 4 weeks apart. Once the initial 2 treatments are completed, it can repeat the treatment every 9 to 12 months for maintenance. Hope it helps.
@@RadiumMedicalAesthetics but can it heal skin permanently? For example if I have sun damaged skin etc you mentioned in the video it’s good for skim healing so even if you don’t repeat treatment can it heal damaged skin and promote healing ?

If you have a specific skin concern such as sun damaged skin, doctors may still likely recommend you to undergo a series of laser treatments specifically targeting the damaged skin and reversing sun damage.
