Iron maidens drummerowns a restaurant not too far from me in South floridacall rock and roll ribs. Food is good. He's a very nice guy to find him hanging out in there quite a bit if he's not on tour. Now I'm gonna have to look at Walmart because I've been wanting to find some sort of colored vinyl or special Edition of my favorite maiden album Piece of Mind. Hopefully they're running something on that 1 too
Hi Edward! I agree with you, that is a wonderful Morphine album! I used to play the heck of that cd in the 90's. Also love Around the Dial by the Kinks, what a great song. Have a wonderful week.
A cassette???? How awesome. I’m waiting to see which one….wow - that is a cool cassette!!! Lenticular and yellow Iron Maiden - I want that one!!! Fun video!!!
wow, that's a very cool cassette for Friday the 13th. That is a beautiful album cover for Joni Mitchell, and I always love seeing the Kinks. Congratulations on getting your turntable grounded. Thanks for showing the records Edward!
Edward, a while ago, Cindy found us a tape player at a Salvation Army store. I started buying some albums on cassette , mostly music that I never had in my collection. Joni Mitchell's ''late period'' albums are somewhat neglected, I enjoy ''Wild Things Run Fast'', from 1982 and '' Turbulent Indigo'', from 1994. I also enjoyed Michael's video, reviewing Zappa's ''Apostrophe'' and the live shows that he attended. The backing musicians on that album are all amazing, Ruth Underwood and George Duke are important ingredients in Uncle Frank's tasty treat!
Hello Michael, I've been doing the same thing buying cassettes that I don't own on vinyl. Joni Mitchell's later albums are still new to me and look forward to buying more of them. Ruth Underwood is an amazing talent. Take Care!
Hi Edward!!! well done and what an awesome Walmart exclusive Maiden pressing, the lenticular efect looks cool too. It's one i have on vinyl, Cd and my old cassette. cheers and be well
