Is this the same procedure for a FE595. Bought a home and there is no programming code on the warranty book. I opened the lock up and I can read the first 3 digits of the programming code but the last 3 are scratched out so I think someone has changed the code. Not sure if I can do the same thing you did.

Wayne what do we do with no sticker code inside the lock housing? I just purchased my home and there was no paperwork just the code given to us to get in. Watching your videos I see an option to remove other codes but scarf to mess up my lock without the programming code filed.

I erased the original A & B codes and added 2 new ones. The first one will unlock the door but it will not work to lock the door. My second code works fine. What's up with that ?

Need to see how to remove the pad to find the programming code. Tenants put this lock in and didn't leave the programming code.

To save you hours of headache: If you are trying to change programming code and it won't accept your current programming code, then you can easily reset to default programming code by unplugging the wire from the battery, then press the exterior schlage button to clear any additional memory cache, then press and hold the exterior schlage button as you reconnect the battery (you may have to do this twice if the default programming code doesn't work). Also note: the programming code can be found on the inside of the unit itself if you can't find where you placed it. Also, if you set up the app, and connect it to your door, the programming code will automatically no longer work. It assumes you can program everything on the app. You can reset following my instructions above if you want to remove the lock from all devices and erase everything from it's memory. Good luck🤞

After I put the 4th programming code number, it will not let me input the 5th and 6th programming code. It thinks I was trying to unlock with a wrong 4 digit code. What should I do pls?

My programming code won't enter. I enter the first 4 and it just fails.
