I thought of a clever idea, after 120 stars, unlock a room where you are on a shell going down a mountain, the ground goes up just as fast as you go down and it’s an endless going down the mountain and ramps come up from time to time, could then be reskinned to be a an endless wave, would be awesome thing to unlock at the end of the
Haven't finished the video yet, but the pyramids are supposed to mirror Orion's belt. So you could use the theme, "As above, so below." So maybe the bottom of the inside of the pyramid could be water and a puzzle needs to be solved to open a coffin that has a switch to drain the water. Maybe even have a geyser that can shoot you up until the water is drained. Once the water is drained, you are sucked through a vortex and are now on the ceiling. The floor is now a mirror, and you can see the maze through the reflection. You may have to change the camera to an angle that lets you see how to solve the puzzle. It might also be fun to invert the controls when you do this. This would mainly be for the pillar room. A hallway and stairs could replace the geyser if it's easier. Just an idea. Edit - If you do hallways, maybe make some spots with quicksand that you sink into or a spot you have to ground pound. Once you ground pound, you're flipped and walking on the ceiling, possibly with inverted controls. Maybe give Mario a different look or a hat when he's inverted - like invert the colors of his clothes. This may be better suited for walking puzzles rather than jumping ones. Adding some spikes and traps as well as mummies or scarab beetles chasing you would be even more diabolical.
I think you need to give the star drawing more room to breathe, that platform looks way too cramped and busy. It'd also be cool if it looked more like paper and not a jpeg texture slapped onto the ground
i've had this conversation about 100 times by now as you can probably imagine the problem is that not a single emulator other than project64 can emulate my mod correctly.
