Programming a Hormann BS Garage & Gate Remote Control 

Hormann's programming instructions for the remote are double dutch, I can't believe that a process so simple and expertly demonstrated by yourself could be written so badly by the manufacturer. I gave up and went to RU-vid for help, so a big thank you from me for making this video, sanity has returned and I can now open the door on my garage once more.

you posted the only video where I see that you learned a fixed code on button one while having button two still in bisecur mode. One simple question : how did you manage that? The instructions seems to indicate this possibility, but all tutorials always start by switching the complete remote in fixed code before learning an old remote.

Great tutorial - worked first time! Clear and concise. Wonder if one of the buttons can be programmed for my DEA gates - would be laughing then!

spent 1 hour doing the instructions from the devise the ones from the door its self then i tried this i also tried the phone no from the end of this video all to no avail in the end i swapped out the internal workings fro one to the other a lot easier and less hasle

What if you’ve lost the original and just have one new device?

What about if you no longer have a spare key to connect from? I lost one and now my current is broken so have no working keys

Hi, is it possible to learn a NEW ONE HSE2 (or HS4) to an older Type HSM4 ? Or can I throw the old types away? :-(

Is it possible to programme BS Hormann (HSE2 BS) and Faac 868 Mhz (XT2 FAAC) into one remote transmitter(one of that two)?

How can i factory reset a remote, mine no longer flashes when you press a button and i havent set a code yet.
