There is no way to say for sure without testing it first. Due to the low grammage of the tissue paper it may not be the most ideal conditions for the ultrasonic sensor to sense. The low grammage will result in less sound being absorbed and essentially distort the quality of the signal returning. Do you have a particular application in mind that you are referring to?
@@PepperlFuchsUSA Yes for sure, i am looking for a sensor that can detect single or double sheet of tissue paper ( digital or analog whatever the sensor may be that resolve this issue). Any suggestion from your side as i have to resolve this issue for my customer. The problem they are facing as follows: In double sheet of tissue paper line , sometime one sheet breaks and they are unaware of the situation. Thats way they need resolution.

Hello Utsav Vaghela, Just to be clear - This product doesn’t measure thickness, it measures the differential between 0, 1 and 2 sheets. A discrete (not analog) output is provided for the three different scenarios. 0.0001 mm(?) thickness is very thin. But if the material was a homogeneous plastic, and you were trying to differentiate between one or two 0.0001 mm thick sheets, it might be worth trying. Note - there needs to be some sort of air gap between the sheets. If there is essentially a vacuum between the sheets, it will not work.
