Crews began demolition Friday of an overpass that was heavily damaged after a fiery crash on I-95 in Norwalk, closing the highway until at least Monday morning.
Twenty years ago I damaged some CT highway barriers and got a bill for $3500. The driver that caused this accident should get a bill for the mess created on I-95.
Probably one of those low pay illegal undocumented immigrants that big companies love so much. This video is disgusting for blaming the car driver. From what I heard a flat bed truck re-ended the gas tanker truck. The car driver was caught up in the accident.
I'm from neighboring Stamford and Norwalk is a mess in the best of times. Our (CT) have always been in bad shape, since i was a kid (I'm 66). Thank goodness it's not Thanksgiving or Christmas.

I'm sure all the excessive heat from the gas explosion cracked all the concrete making the bridge weak and to dangerous to drive in and also beyond repair.
Isn't it curious how infrastructure keeps being destroyed? The bridge in Baltimore, the stretch of highway in Los Angeles, this overpass here. Pretty strange.
I haul fuel in ct. chances are i know the driver i dont think its that easy to stage this tbh. Now if i talk to other drivers at the terminals and none of us recognize the driver, then it will be fishy to me but doesnt seem like it was something planned and evil imo. If it were planned and evil, there are tons of ares that would cause way more mayhem that they would have targeted.
It was IMMEDIATELY apparent that it wasn't caused by an EV. Otherwise that would be the leading story. No worries, it was just another petrol fire. This one was big enough to actually hit national news. Percentages be damned. I grow so weary of manufactured consent from corporate media. On MANY fronts. Hay, it's just the cost of doing business.
