would you be able to put a parts list of the electronics that you used. I would like to build this exactly but want to change the direction of the feed motor so that I can make the wheel capable of working for any brass sizes (basically 4 different brass sizes so that it can work for any brass instead of changing main feed wheels any help would be appreciated.
Do you have a hall effect sensor on the back of your main rotor that resets your feed rotor and also to count rpms and brass count? Also are you using an Arduino to calculate your time in flame knowing RPM and diameter of the main rotor? I was trying to set something like this up but wasn't sure. Would appreciate your response.
+Eric Johnson Yes, I'm using a hall effect sensor. The drum has a small disc magnet on the back side of it, and the sensor picks up to trigger a feed, and yes, it is being driven by an Arduino Mega using a RAMPS board and 2 stepper motors. If you'd like to look at the source code that is driving it, you can see it here: github.com/djmurf/Annealer
+Dean Murphy Thanks, I really appreciate it. I was about to either make mine mechanical with cams or go the all electronic route. Thanks again, very good work and great looking machine.
