Hey Griff, have you already figured out a solution for heat? If you haven't yet I would highly recommend one of those Chinese diesel heaters, I used one in my little workshop area at my old house hooked up to a 12v battery and it worked surprisingly well especially for how cheap they are. I have since moved it to my bug and it works almost too well for such a small cabin. The van is coming along nicely!
Nice to know they work well, yes I have one sitting ready to go in. We love the mountains and thats the reason we went for closed cell insulation as well the diesel heater, cant wait to test it out, thanks for the vote of confidence on them👍
No i haven't weighed the van, but I have checked on weight of product used so far, the pine linning is one kilo per metre, there's 300 metres used, the flooring is 100 kg and about 100 kg of other materials, around 500 kg so far, the van is rated to 1900 kg. My guesstimate is around 1200-1300 kg finished and loaded, with plenty up my sleeve. The Iveco is basically a dual wheel truck on a van body there really solid amd incredibly well made. The pine used is radiata pine which a fast growing tree and very light, i love it too thanks mate👍
