It's always great to watch seiyuus talk about their work process, struggles and accomplishments alike. I feel like it's so interesting and always gives me newfound respect for their craft
Matsuoka and Tomatsu have been through a lot and it’s really interesting to tap into a younger version of themselves. Kirito at the time was voiced by a very young Matsuoka so I really hope he can capture that kind of immaturity again. Either way, Progressive will probably be one of the most interesting anime I’ve seen in a while
I'm still happy to this day that Tsugu-Tsugu got the role of Kirito despite him having only 3 major roles, and many popular, and upcoming VAs like Ryota Osaka, and Yusuke Kobayashi auditioning at that time, and him being the Dark Horse since he's not even in the top 5 list. Now that we're back at Aincrad again, I can't wait to feel the nostalgia that Progressive will bring us.
Do be reminded that progressive is different story than the original story (to be more precise, how the author wants SAO to be). I prefer progressive more though, feels more engaging
@@SuperSohaizai Well it's not much of a different story. It's a expansion of the orginal aincrad arc. It's a retelling of the story from the beginning but the old SAO vol 1 and 2 and other stories in the novel series are still canon.
Hey poyo! Good work as always, it would be a great idea if you would add the date when the program was aired in the description to have more context in the vid, then again it’s just a suggestion, thanks for the consistent uploads! You’ve improved a lot and congrats on the 4.5k subs! When I watched your vids u had 70 subs I feel proud xD
Wow since 70😆 Thank you very much! When you ask politely like that I have to answer. It's from last month's sa on air 5. Some people didn't learn how to ask so I just ignore. 😂
It's funny when these two people afraid their voice might sound different from when they first time got their role on SAO and gonna disappoint someone. Because I'm fan of Chihayafuru and I notice Seto Asami voice as Chihaya on season 3 slightly different from previous seasons which have at least 5 years gap (I look it up at internet, it has 6 and half years gap) and I don't mind it at all, I just notice it's different and move on.
it's a different case since they just dont want to make young kirito and asuna sounds "older" or different from the season 1. Your chihayafuru comparison is like comparing their voice in season 1 and alicization.
@@Snappukingu Nope. You completely wrong. What I mean by 5 year gap is not character age, but release date. Chihaya through out the series happens during her high school years. Heck, Chihayafuru Season 3 are direct sequel to the Season 2. The right comparison is like comparing to War of Underworld and Alicitazion, but they decide to make the sequel 6 years later. The character should be the same, the voice and everything. But in Chihayafuru, Chihaya voice in season 3 slightly different from the previous season even though it's the same VA. Like I said, I just notice the difference and I don't really care because the VA doing her best to "recreate" her voice 6 years ago.
@@Snappukingu Haruka-san and Tsugutsugu afraid someone might notice that they can't recreate their voice during recording of "Progressive" like in the first and second episode of OG SAO because it's been a while and it's supposed to be 100% identical.
lately tsugu2 voice became more heavier more than in his new debut time, its kinda similar with tomatsun or kayanon, like in ngnl or sakurasou his voice sounds a little bit lighter than now but it wont change the feeling i think and it doesnt sounds bad at all
Where can I watch the full versions of these. Im not tripin if it doesn't have subtitles. I've been trying to watch these radios for the longest but like half of the Sao ones are blocked in the us
I wonder how different this will be to that manga that was drawn by the artist from getsuyoubi no tawawa or something. I read that before but it stopped updating
Fairly different. Kiseki Himura's manga adaptation generally follows the same storyline as the canon LN (except for floor 3 which he completely changed up) but his take on the story is generally more comedic and ecchi than the original. The movie is based off the Light novel, not the manga.
