Watch as Luigi Cani attempts to break the world record for landing the world's smallest parachute. His little baby weapon of choice...a SLeia made by us in New Zealand!!
I got my A License two weeks ago. I just downsized from a 220 to a 200. This is unimaginable to me. Well, two months ago, just jumping out of airplanes was also unimaginable.
@@toml7785 🔴 What Is Islam? 🔴 Islam is not just another religion. 🔵 It is the same message preached by Moses, Jesus and Abraham. 🔴 Islam literally means ‘submission to God’ and it teaches us to have a direct relationship with God. 🔵 It reminds us that since God created us, no one should be worshipped except God alone. 🔴 It also teaches that God is nothing like a human being or like anything that we can imagine. 🌍 The concept of God is summarized in the Quran as: 📖 { “Say, He is God, the One. God, the Absolute. He does not give birth, nor was He born, and there is nothing like Him.”} (Quran 112:1-4) 📚 🔴 Becoming a Muslim is not turning your back to Jesus. 🔵 Rather it’s going back to the original teachings of Jesus and obeying him. I'm on a 190 right now so in a couple more months I should be ready. I mean come on, how hard can it be? I try and downsize gradually, about every couple of jumps. Test piloting is so crazy. Great job!
Incredible ! He doesn't need a container for that canopy, it would fit in his pocket or a pilot chute pouch ! It's about the same size as two 42 inch base jump pilot chutes :)
Very impressive! Incredible level of skills and pure guts! At this stage now, the only way that the record is going to get beaten, is by a person with less mass and less body size, and less of an urge to die of old age!
I was in Perris when he was packing the hankerchief or should I say parachute. I just missed him jumping it. Gutted. I believe someone else tried at skydive AZ also a few days after I arrived before but died trying. 😢. Risky stuff. But it's a great safe sport and usually the safest guys are the students lol.
That's the other side of the problem. It takes hundreds of jumps to tune up a new design. But somebody needs to test them along the way. It's probably possible to make a canopy that size with more speed range and more stability. Test, test, test ...
why is he landing with the wind coming from behind? anyway: the video shows the limit. the canopy looks almost uncontrollable during landing (a lot of yaw movements / oscillations)
crosswind actually, I 'm guessing he's using the longest dimension of the temp DZ. I'm surprised that they also developed a working freefall deployment for it. Weighing nothing must make it pretty frisky during openings.
It's not big at all. How small? It's 34 square feet (approximately 3.16 square meters). To put it in perspective, that's almost the same size as a standard queen-size bed sheet
Really? The guy landed a 34 ft2 canopy (on his feet) and your giving him advise? Please, upload a video of you doing the same and let’s see how that works out. Imbecile
End of the game. And now, next? You will never win the game of life! Go outdoor and have fun with friends without competition. Can't understand this downsizing egotrips of all those people crashing year after year.
I watched when they first brought out the 120's and 97's. They were exciting and worked well. Tiny, exciting, decent. I never wanted to go smaller than my 135. It's perfect. You need to go 'too far' to know how far is too far.
