Thank you. I wouldn't think it would take much to go to a carb. You need the ECU to control the transmission tho. you could use a cheap carb intake and let the computer control the timing possibly or else you would have to get a 46rh to replace the 46re and the hei distributor and carb and it's good to go. Could probably leave the ECU in to keep most of the dash working. It's a good bit of work. If you just want the ability to tune it I'd get hptuners and stay efi. But if you're set on the carb it's doable.
