Project Brutality 3.0 test build together with After Doom WAD, level Knee-Deep In the Hell with 100% Secrets achieved (1 secret is out of the playable area boundaries, if you fly there with noclip, you can see that area is unfinished - no items at all and even walls are missing). As always, the spawn preset is Chaotic Random, the most fair and fun to use with a very high chance of finding upgrades and annoying Overlords.This level is a recreation of the space between Ultimate Doom episodes, in this case a void between Knee-Deep In the Dead and The Shores of Hell episodes. Knee-Deep in the Dead is ended with a room where Doomguy always dies due to a damaging floor accompanied by several monsters in a small and dark room. But what if there was a place, an actual level where Doomguy has to reach Deimos by using that teleporter at the end of Knee-Deep In The Dead? After Doom fills this gap with few new maps, they are quite big with few hundreds of monsters and also several secrets to explore, expect lots of fighting. The levels have received a really hellish look and atmosphere because of ambients sounds and heavy climax, you are surely in Hell itself this time. After Doom introcuded several custom monsters, so you might find Chaingunner Mancubus, several Melee Revenants, Hellish Imps and one secret boss too. Remember that this mappack needs to DOOM 2 WAD to play, otherwise you will have lots of missing textures during the game, keep it in mind.

The good work done on these mods is insane. The only problem I see in them is that the demons, even the newly created demons are very easy to kill. I believe that for each new weapon that they added in the game there should be a new zombie command with it [new weapon]. Even an armored class with axes and chainsaws for hand-to-hand combat. The game is very easy.

It's Chaotic Random spawn preset - it means that I can grab the strongest weapons and upgrades and fight through lots of fodder demons. On the other hand I can be really unlucky, fighting with basic weapons against Overlords, Flesh Wizards and Belphegors (believe me, that trio is a nightmare to fight and most of Project Brutality players will agree with it).

After beating the badasses on the Phobos Moon Base Doom Guy was suppose to win. Wasn't he? Wasn't he? Where is his fat reward and his ticket home? What the hell is this? This wasn't suppose to end this way! The smell is like someone left the meat out for 5 days. Looks like he is on the Shores of Hell and the only way out is through hell itself.

I used to think this sort of stuff was too modded for me to understand or enjoy, but I started by just watching the AfterDoom wads in I guess it would be the classic Doom 2 engine, and I loved all the custom enemies. So far, AfterDoom with Project Brutality looks REALLY good!

@Shawn Grant i think SGTMARKIV should either increase the enemies' health or decrease the weapon damage. That way it would feel a lot more rewarding when you kill the stronger enemies.

@@potatosoup9536 Sgt Mark did not make Project Brutality, another developer named PA1NKI113R made it. PB is also officially spilt from Brutal doom. Monsters are also being overhauled to a much more optimized code base called ZScript, which is similar to the older Decorate, but more advanced and optimized

man at this point, who fucking knows last time I heard about this mod, they were gonna release it in late 2019. After that, a bunch of people said that it was gonna release alongside/shortly after doom eternal came out now, idek. I just kinda lost my hopes for it

@@rafi5486 Damn, I thought there was a date for it. I downloaded the one on the link here and its pretty cool I just wanted like a "official" version of it instead of the test build or whatever. The movement is fucking my vibe up real hard though, its so stiff and weird in PB 3.0

Download GZDOOM, or appropriate launcher for the type of PC you have, find the mods you want, download them, they will be in zip format, so you need WinRAR or 7zip to extract the files to a location on your PC. Then once you have extracted all the files, you drag and drop onto GZDoom and it launches itself with the mod or mods. I was hesitant just like you before I learned on my own how to do it. It's really easy. If you want a video explaining it better than what I just did, go over to IcarusLives's channel and look for his video on how to install and mod doom 2. Hope you figure it out and enjoy the endless amount of fun! You can also get ideas of what to play by watching his videos, he showcases ALOT of amazing mods!

I have bad news for the modder. Doomguy went straight to Deimos lost moon that got teleported to hell. It is fun and all but that little room after episode 1 was just a shareware teaser for the second episode. Map is cool though, pace feels so much like modern Doom.

no matter what i do i CANNOT get the github project brutality download to work anyone have any tips? plz ive used it in zdl ive changed the file type to pk3 and it loads all the way till the end and then it says error cannot execute thank you

You don't need to unzip it and use pk3. GZDoom.exe CAN load .zip files

can you do a tutorial install vid, i cannot figure out how to run after doom, with brutal doom effects and get the custom skin running.

DownLoad ZDL, and the latest version of GZDoom, assuming you already have those, move AfterDoom into your gz folder use ZDL to load brutal doom (should say brutalv21.pk3) then after doom, Alternatively if you’re looking for PB, download the PB zip from github, DO NOT UNPACK IT, (if it helps, rename it to a pk3, it’ll work fine) load the PB master.zip and your good Have fun!
