Brilliant. Such attention to detail, can't wait. Please let there be the Anglesey circuit in it too please, it's used by many tv and magazines and would be great for myself for sim training against the real thing.
I told myself I wouldn't get excited for a Project Cars game again after the first one... Quickly failed myself. These built by drivers videos are getting me hyped.
NFS Porsche is my favourite racing game of all time. Such a fun driving model, beautiful tracks, awesome single player campaign, great fun at LANs. Looks like it might finally get knocked off its pedestal.
I felt like I was watching a short film. Wanted to hear some critiques about the what he felt and then have them work on them just like first vid with Chris Goodwin. oh well will wait for next vids.
ARCTiC ITA okay so where is an analysis video of the gameplay changes and a bug report in comparison to pc1. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for this game as well, but I can't make any statements about it being a goddamn "masterpiece" without it being out or even having a proper release date. No one has reviewed it yet. I repeat : stop pre order culture and unjustified hype. That goes for any car simulation and any game, from need for speed to assetto corsa to project cars to rfactor : what isn't out yet is worthless.
I gotta admit, the physics look better in this video than previous videos. If this really feels good on the handling sim side, then Asseto corsa might have to find a way to gain status again, since PC2 has better graphics, and probably better more fun gameplay. I currently play Asseto and Dirt Rally as my favorite sims. I don't settle for pretty graphics but shitty physics that PC1 had
It was hard for many developers to even feature Porsche in games to begin with because EA games had exclusive licensing rights to the brand. Now, it has expired.
It's all looks very lovely but the proof is in the pudding. I will believe it when I play it. If it's better than RaceRoom Experience or Assetto Corsa I will eat my own simulator!
Porsche Ferrari and hopefully soon we will get more information on Lambo cant wait for this game also after the announcement of the full grid of 2016 Indy Cars :D GT Sport and Forza really gonna have to pull something special out i think.
Will the Dodge Viper ACR be in there? please be in there.. Its my fav car.. that car took 13 track records and they're not making anymore Vipers. It even beat the 918 and Mclearn at Laguna Seca
Newest build of PCars 2 is way better (my previous assessment was... ehm, a bit rushed). Now the ffb feeling is probably the best I ever had in a racing Sim! Slowly I start worrying about the future of Assetto Corsa, especially if the licensing system and online features are as announced... still a lot of development ahead till end of year. AND: the existing car park is IMO not nearly as good as in Assetto Corsa. Guess that will be filled with DLC's.
Marcel B. Existing car park? Are you telling me...manual pit entry and exits? Or like a road day kind of thing? Which (to me) assetto is known for. Or did you mean car pack*? by any chance?
NemisisDL I meant the selection of cars. Too many LMP cars no one cares about, only few street cars you actually want to drive or it is just the wrong version -> e.g. Mustang GT, boooring, either a GT350 or GT500. Then the Porsches: No RSR, no RS 2.7, no GT3 Cup car... very few hyper cars. And I miss mine ;-) (M135i)
Marcel B. So the majority is just a bunch of race built cars? I guess assetto still has it's role of "Road car, track day simulator". To be honest with you...Project Cars 2 (to me), has been pushing more towards a motorsports sim which I think we all know who is king in this aspect, (Iracing). Then again, with all the new features they've got, it could give that game a run for it's money. But like you said...lacking road cars could be thier chance for DLCs.
