The Lotus hasn´t any downforce either. It´s just much lighter and therefore faster in corners.

You should have been taking the corners better with more speed you could have easily pulled away if you stuck it out on the corners hit the straight game over

Hey there and a big compliment for your exellent work! I'm always inspired by your funny and helpful videos. Driving this Ford with a shifter is hard work and not that easy to handle. But I practice as much as I can also while I'm writing here. Can't wait to get my VR on PS4 to dive in this great game. I still play in a good old race game : Forza Motorsport. And I need to do a endurance race with a FUCKING FORD GT3 F 1969 !!! WISH AS ONLY POWER IN THE WEELS AND NO BRAKES AND NO GRIP !!! 22 LAPS ON LAGUNA SECA AND AT THE 11th LAP A FERRARI PASS ME OFF AND ALL THIS WORK FOR NOTNING... Because i know that the Ford can not reach to the ferrari after being lost tbe first place...

I am not sure, but i think you are most of the time not on the ideal line. And because of that you have to break much harder than necessary. But i haven't played PCars for a long time.

in the immortal words of Ryosuke Takahashi, "It's so refreshing to battle at the ultimate limit" that was some really great racing. car control and the Gentleman Racer Rule. I like seeing that in all motorsports, esports or real sports. I totally see that the Lotus got in your head. he was baiting you in the corners, then that outside pass, MAN! unreal. he knew if he kept you at least 50meters behind the penultimate corner he might have beat you to the line. but your Brute Force motor was playing out in his head every time you passed on the straights. in hindsight you showed your cards too early. as you were chasing the Dragon, that 1/1000 moment of judgement on that dogleg, man! it was going to be a photo finish for sure. I need a wheel on my ps4. I don't online race because i'm not the cleanest on a controller.

Wouldn't it be a legit strategy to lose half the body at the start of the race? Better rear brakes vent, better times, less fuel consumption, less downforce. Leaving the jokes aside, looks like running low downforce could be a legit strategy on this track

I'm curious if the game actually tracks you loosing your rear...hatch (?)... into the handling. That and loosing your spoiler

...after you lost rear end of car containing a little wing- car suffered from lack of downforce on rear wheels or you were just desperate putting too much to floor and car started spining wheels in 2nd gear on straights? I think weight reduction wasnt the reason you were faster in last lap :D from side of physics I think loosing of rear wing caused lack of downforce on rear but it means less resistance increasing acceleration and speed..

Some the the corners could be hit with the same velocity as the Lotus is hitting them. When your tyres can be heard, that's when you're pushing the limit but I can't hear them. (Either that or your audio is set up for engine over tyre noise).

Its sounds like you have tracktion control on 🤢 or some kind of stability control. The car studes a hell of a lot in cornes. All assist needs to be off in this car!

man you need to check your exist because it seams youcan push the car more and some entrys are rong. try to push the limits some times

I just hate this car with a passion in PC. Call it a lack of talent, but I can't control it.

When I watch others play newer race games I always notice how good traction you have. When I'm playing Gran Turismo 4 I have to hit my brake to the max before any corners because the game doesn't have AMS and I haven't upgraded the breaks. Even with TC my car can't turn for shit. Everytime I'm leading and brake some twat drives max speed on my rear and he makes the corner and I fly out of the track, GG WP, these newer games are fucking casual lmao.
