I feel like damon’s parents wanted him to have a ultimate and pushed him to get one out of wanting their kid to have a good life. But they might have accidentally pushed him into this spot of constant pressure, but they don’t see that mostly thinking the pressure is part of the down side of being an ultimate and that he would eventually get used to it. My theory is that while not abusive his parents are flawed, which is a very nice concept, in media we often see parents as either perfect people or border line pure evil.

Given how Damon mention his parents, it is hard to believe that his parents are abusive considering that he said he miss them. So, either it is true that his parents thought having an ultimate benefit him or his parents subtly abusive him without his acknowledge though the latter's unlikely happened. Another theory that I have is this killing game is virtually reality.Given how the shape of sky, how the corpse suddenly appear after the gang was out and dissappear the next day. Also connect to the rule about unwillingly participants like maybe some of them actually signed up the virtual world without knowing the killing game.

pointing something out, i relate heavily to damon so maybe im projecting here, but its entirely possible for parents to be toxic, but for the kid to still love them and miss them, especially when said parents also still love their kid and want to best for them, but just arent the best at being parents.

I've so many mixed feelings on Diana, on one hand I think she's the fucking best girl and should be protected at all cost, but on the other hand, the semi hope's peak academy's logo on her shirt and the fact that her animal is a Cameleon make me sus her as hell

Hello. I really like your theories regarding the game, especially Damon. I can definitely see the possibility of Damon and Diana being foils and becoming friends, maybe even taking Eva's role as the support character and even being a potential love interest. Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I can't help but wonder if while Damon's desire to be respected for his title is true, what he really desires subconsciously is a friend and someone who loves him. It's also really tragic to me that Damon's so obsessed with his title that he's basing his entire self-worth on it.

Eva lied when she said that she observed the area before Damon woke up, but then she throws the bulb to check if the water is electrocuted, that's sus. Also sus that she said that she woke up alittle bit before Damon, but than how did she manage to observe the whole area?
