Next time runs the belray fluid for your primary and trans!! Way better than the factory Harley fluid. They have it at Harley dealerships.

A constant velocity carburetor is altitude compensating for the fuel/air mixture. Why they run them on Rotax 912 ULS aircraft engines that go up and down in altitude. Does the Mikuni have that feature too?

I like the choice of VR1 Racing oil, an ace local guy mech here on Maui suggested I run it 10 years ago and have been using it since, but I run straight 60 weight. 03 FXD 95 in. Mondello heads DarkHorse crank, Wood TG8 gear drive cams, dynatech ign, Blah blah blah, still run the rejetted CV carb, Bassani 2 into 1 stain;ess exhaust and it runs great.

I've got an 01 FXDX. 98"Zippers pistons and cylinders, new lifters, .510 S&S cams, SE forged cam plate, SE high flow oil pump, Jagg oil cooler, S&S cam gear drive, new inner bearings, 9.5:1, compression billet fork brace

I've got an 01 FXDX, great break down of the upgrades! I definitely need some Thrashin' upgrades! I'm guessing you ship to New Zealand?

When flowing through a constricted area of a pipe, a fluid’s velocity increases and its static pressure decreases. This principle is known as the Venturi effect. What Is the Venturi Effect? Skyscrapers are a common sight in any large city. When standing near the base of one of these giant structures, you may notice that the wind blowing around you is seemingly faster and stronger than elsewhere. One of the factors that can contribute to this wind acceleration is the squeezing of air through narrow spaces when several skyscrapers stand close to one another. This “channeling” effect is just one form of a larger fluid flow principle - the Venturi effect. The Venturi effect states that in a situation with constant mechanical energy, the velocity of a fluid passing through a constricted area will increase and its static pressure will decrease. The effect utilizes both the principle of continuity as well as the principle of conservation of mechanical energy.
