Here's a flip through of my 2024 #projectlife album so far (January - April). Individual process video for each week are available here on RU-vid or on my blog: www.aliedwards...
I'm so on the same boat as you, Ali: my kids are grown and one out of the house, soon to be 2 in the Fall, and things are just different in my current PL album. I'm definitely approaching things way more loosely now than I ever have, and I've been doing PL since my oldest turned 8 (he's now 21!). Love your videos; it helps me to stay inspired and active in my photo-taking journey!
I LOVE your Project Life! It's so inspiring with the inserts, the shapes within the pockets, the vellum, putting things outside the page protector! It's SO FUN!
I love watching your videos and spreads of project life - here on youtube and in the story classes. I recently watched around here and it seems, that you put your words from week 13 in the wrong week (with the right now 123 and betty) - so week 13 has words 🤭
I’m working on not including every little thing, but so far I’m kinda failing at it 🤣 LOVE your album! So much fun and I love how each week is its own style - tells part of the story that way, too! So cool!
I think it's one of those things that we each get to decide for ourselves depending on the season! An overview of the week feels "just right" for me in this season of life - in previous seasons I had different stories to tell. I definitely think 12x12 might be the way to go if you want to include more!
So glad to see you back sharing PL :) Question: how do you pare down what to put in each week? Trying to make the transition from every little detail of every little thing to more of a monthly overview in a few pages using the Stories by the Month kit…..
I honestly just focus on filling the pockets - once they are full I call that good - I know that no matter what I add I'm documenting something about my life! The add-in pages are from Story Kits or when I really want to include some more photos.
Ali, at about 1 min 46 seconds in you have a tall photo with writing on it…are you writing directly on the photo or doing that in photoshop and printing it that way?
Are these photos off your phone and which printer do you use. You are so inspirational! Also, when adding words on photos are you using photoshop? Thanks!
Hi! I have a post about that here: aliedwards.com/2022/02/scrapbooking-basics-printing-photos-at-home. And yes - I use photoshop to add words to my photos!
