Great video Pete. I found it interesting to know that Cortinas had nose cones as well as Escorts. Even that nose cone piece would have been a challenge to manufacture I would have thought.

Hi Pete, remember that yellow MK3 Cortina in Paphos, Cyprus. I just found out it got sold and someone local to Paphos renovated it and it was at the classic car show in Paphos a couple of months ago. I know for, there are quite a few 70's Cortinas in the old quarry tip on Benbecula, in the Outer Hebrides. A possible source of indicator lenses

Fight The Power, Pete 🤟🏼😆 As for Audi, pretty much forgettable apart from the ur Quattro, 80 Sport Quattro, slippery 100s and the 5cyl carryovers into the 90s with a special mention for the S2 coupe and wagon, at least one of which should be on my driveway; however I chose integrity over kowtowing to clueless managers earlier in my career so that driveway slot remains empty. At least that 5cyl sounded great. I’m not a supercar fan so the R8 doesn’t do it for me, and the S and RS versions of lowlier products leave me cold due to huge cost and their general Modern Everycar But Boosted A Bit driving experience. Still, if we all liked fishing there would be no room on the riverbank 🙂
