God I miss this theme. The new one is great and all, but this one somehow worked perfectly. Something about it just screams "this is war, it isn't glorious or awful, it just is what it is".
Everytime i listen to this theme it gives me chills, especially the second part with the piano. For 6 years i played BF2 back in 2005, plus 3 years of PR, it took a big part on my youth. I remember the hype of getting up from bed and going to play all day on weekends. Too bad Battlefield forgot it's origins and started competing with COD for a new release almost every year, shitty or not... It made me leave the BF franchise for good, nothing was the same after BF2 and the mod, even though i had some fun playing BFBC2 and BF3 with IRL friends nothing could compare the adrenaline rush i had playing PR in a platoon with complete strangers all with different roles and all commited to really stand for each other. Never have i seen that kind of teamwork in a game since then, not even in ARMA. I was, and always have been the designated medic of the squad, and i did my job damn well. Leave no man behind was my MO. Good times.
Same brother battlefield hasn't been the same for years it lost its identity after BF3 I was also always the medic or on some maps always flew transport helos
Waiting for that server to come online after a crash... and it does... but you just keep on waiting... How long ago it was , how small of a community we were. Teamwork and Tactics -edi1413
Yeah me too, thats actually a seperate track from the main theme (although it's used alongside the first track all the time in-game) It's called 'Home' in case you were interested :D
The fact that this game is the best if it is realistic, apart from his incredible music, unique sounds so I started playing Battlefield 2 and then I played Proyec reality in almost all versions and really surprised me, I recommend to them looking for maximum realism and say that hardly seems like a game ... it's more like being in a war and live it. excellent game boys
La verdad que este juego es el mejor si se trata de realismo,aparte de su increible musica,sonidos inigualables etc,yo empeze jugando battlefield 2 y luego jugue Proyec reality en casi todas sus versiones y la verdad que me sorprendió,lo recomiendo a ellos que buscan el maximo realismo y digo que casi no parece un juego...es mas como estar en una guerra y vivirlo .exelente juego muchachos
I didn't say they weren't going to use it, I said they were trying to be tricky and make it CE3, but not reveal that it was going to use CE3 until the Project Reality 2 trailer (whenever it comes out).
Every time that time and now, when hearing first seconds of the song, I feel that server crashed and I got kicked lol.. or there wasn’t enough slots to join and kick again haha
@Soulless99 I will always remember that theme, but who knows... Propably someday I'll tell the same about current, and about some new that i hope are going to come out.
they won't do it cause EA is money makers -_- when they saw that Battlefield 2 is more playable than their new titles I'm sure they are gonna cease to release modding tools so they can get away from that "7+ years lasting" games
