That's what a cigarette lighter does. It gets really hot so you can light cigarettes. You pushed it in so it turned on and it takes a second to get hot before popping out.
Just letting you know that you dont need tech2 for your ecu issue ... Just a good ecu, a laptop and an obdlink sx cable (its cheap) , and you can clone your existing ecu very easily ... you can find a very good and easy guide to follow in the trionictuning forum :) But i can help you aswell , as i've done it way too many times :)
@@AutoAutopsy Believe me you dont .... thats the old way ... i have cloned over 20-30 ECUs .... visit the trionictuning forum ... its dedicated to saabs and the development of our ECUs ....
Yeah, I had the ECU swapped in my 9-5 when I tore the old B235E out in place of a B235R. Pulled the Aero ECU out, and was able to pop the Aero ECU in my car without divorcing it from the parts car.
Looks like an aftermarket MAF you swapped out. I've used multiple MAF sensors on my 06 arc and 05 linear without problem. OEM is the only way with electronics on these cars.
I have same issue with ECM right now, bought one from a Scott Rountree off ebay, worked for 2 months but now its messed up,flooding again, they guy wont answer me, need new ecm, again.. :/
Jax Plata there are a few good ones if you know the right people . if you have facebook you can follow Saab club of Atlanta , the people that sell saab’s there are real enthusiasts & take care of them
Tech2 not needed for old ecu fw download, swap and flash. Check out trionictuning.com for info on using a laptop and OBD link sx cable to do the job. Swapped my failed 2.0T ecu a couple years ago. Same symptoms - flooding. The v6 ecu, however, does need final program with tech2. PM me if you want links for links to my progress posts, as there is a lot to sift through. Those guys rock!
Ha ha! It’s a cigarette lighter! Don’t have those in cars anymore. When she inserted it ALL the way in it activates it. If you only push it in till the first bit of tension it is in the stored position
