What I really appreciate about this video is that the guy doing it is more large in size and this is really helpful and encouraging to me because I am big too and usually all these tutorials feature girls and boys who are light and slim. So thank you.
I've been shuffling for 2 Years and 2 Months. In those 2 years and 2 months i have never been happy with the look of my shuffle. But i'm going to try rocking, i love the flow, and how smooth it looks, your video has helped a lot! thank you for uploading. - Ecki
I was wrong. Im overweight and thought that was a problem to shuffle due the lack of movement, but seeing this big guy changed my mind. He's heavier than me and he shuffles so cool!! So I can do it too. Thanks and Im a new suscriber
this actually clicked in place for me since i bought the wedancehard DVD and learned early on from it, and this to me just details the running man perfectly
I've always thought it would be cool to discuss actual concepts (Not tutorials) on style. And somehow this is exactly what I imagine in my head, but no one gets with me. Thanks for the video, it was interesting to listen to.
It better to have a science where you can test and retest until you come up with a results than to get a feel for a style. BigMilan also teaches you to shuffle but he is more romantic with the shuffle while shaboogen is more objective by reverse engineering elements that make shuffling and reengineering them to fit towards stylistic experimentation. Milan does not offer that. this guy gives you more freedom by telling you a way of crafting your style through explaining the mechanics.
Akira Pilot I need to read this 3 times to understund, but im from Finland and Finnish is my 1# communication way! So it doesnt be ur fault in anyway, that i cant read English very good or i do it very slow? ...But i get you finally and your point is clear and absolutely i agree!! And this point "accely" (orhowyouspellthateffin'word" ...help'ed me, thank you!! 😀😉
you should add up explanation between beats tempo of the music and step distance because in some point they both always related, faster beat then its better do short steps (RM). Nice video!!!
Awesome video! This is the kind of video that teaches us really how to create our styles, not copying the others. Would you let me translate this video with subtitles in portuguese? It would be really nice because some people here in Brasil would appreciate a translation. And if soon you upload any more videos from Project Style, I would like to make a translation too. What do you think? We would give all credits for your channel, of course. ^^
Very insightful with some explanation on what many do unknowingly with their forms. However, I disagree with the claim that the RM is "the most important step" in one's shuffle. The T-step has always been (and will continue to be) at the heart of the dance. Regardless of how popular the RM has become in the shuffle, some still have styles that utilize very little RM. Rather, it is a matter of personal preference for what the shuffler wants to emphasize. Many thanks though for this video.
i love this video but the whole rockers thing is a lil annoying lol but that could just be me as i see shuffling as a rave thing and it was started in raves :P but the dance can expand too :)
