I'm from melbourne and iv'e seen lots of other countries trying to make a tutorial on how to do the melbourne shuffle and this is probably by far the most accurate. You're a bit short on each T step, but everything else was brilliant, keep it up buddy!
I knew how to do the Running man, T-step, and some kicks and spins but the reverse and glide i learned from your video. Thanks a whole bunch, my shuffle now flows and has variety ♡
Hey bro, RESPECT!! This is the FIRST usefull tutorial for me after watching over 50 turtorial vids!!(no choke!!) I'm from switzerland, and I tryed german tutorials, nevermind -.- The running man is no problem anymore, the t-step was the first move I ever learnt from shuffling, but par(?) example, at the reverse step, I failed every time -.- Yea, failed, because it's no problem anymore:-) Just because of YOU!! Thanks man :D
I know several people have said this already, but this is truly the most useful tutorial I have seen. 15 minutes of me practicing with this tutorial has gotten me further than much longer with any of the others. The camera angle is great and your explanations are too. It's very clear. Thank you very much. I plan to practice 15-30 minutes a day until I master this.
Awesome tutorial. Very helpful. I use it for a workout when I'm bored because it is amazing for the legs. Also, something to note is similar things occur in ROTC.
i couldn't do the running man at all after watching countless tutorials. Yours was the first that actually taught me how to do it! Thanks man, good vid!
NEW MOVES!!!! So happy I found this one! Been looking for a couple new moves that weren't too difficult and this video was a gold mine! The step back and toe spin are PERFECT! Thank you so much!!!!!
Dude... I'm in my late forties, and this shit used to crack me up... Really I was just jealous cause I couldn't do it, (thought there was some trickery involved... It just looks so weird) I swear I'm gonna start practicing the running man and T step, seriously great exercise, and good for polishing floors... Cheers..!
Finally a shuffle tutorial that's easy to understand and looks good. I feel like I need a shuffle teacher in person though, can you come teach me?! I mean that in a non-creepy way haha :D
hey man I'm here in Melbourne and the only place where the shuffle still exists is at shit like defqon- no clubs, no parties, just those hardstyle festivals (yes I shuffle, only to rustle jimmies) but you're pretty much sound on your technique, but you need to cover a little more space with a little more aggression in your technique other than that, this is probably one of the best tutorials I've seen on RU-vid, props man ! :)
Well there's your problem dude, you're in the wrong scene ! :D defqon and all the hard style fests are where you will find people Hakking and Shuffling. I used to Melbourne style, and it just died off. The London shuffle (Konijnendans) is starting to kick off here, and im really glad Ive been doing it for years keep making videos man !
The beats is a quarter note and your feet are doing 8th notes lol!! There bro I got it 🤣 awesome video dude I love it . I did it in high school but never got deep into it until now haha
Hey man, I looked up all kinds of tutorials on how to improve my shuffle and mainly my running man. I can shuffle, but it doesn't look as smooth as you guys' (the youtubers). Now how can I make my shuffle look smoother?
8:09 Good damn it xD Can't go out from laughting x'D Running Zombie instead of Running Man xD Really, really nice Video Man! It helped a lot! I really appreciate!
you're awesome. Thanks for taking the time to make this video...I would add google "adsense" to your video (even though it's a bit annoying to us the viewers), but it could make you a few bucks a month. Just a suggestion... Thanks!
***** Hey! There is plenty of music that is used for shuffling! Shuffling is generally defined as a Electronic Music Dance, and so I hardly ever dance to LMFAO's music anyways. Try searching electro house, house, big room house etc. Artists like hardwell, Dimitri Vegas and like mike, Vicetone, etc are great for shuffling. Spinnin Records and Revealed Recordings youtube channels have tons of music great to shuffle to. Anything with a constant beat is good.
Hello, i have a question. Do you have to be physically in shape to be good at shuffle? It's just when I watch old Melbourne shuffle vids from 2008 all those boys look skinny, without any meat on their bones and out of shape, but when they shuffle they glide and shuffle all over the place and with great speed. Could you do this when you are tired or after a long and hard day at work for example? Hope this question is not stupid. And thank you for reading this. I'm not English so forgive my mistakes :)
Looks like she took care of this for me. But nah man, if your of a heavier set, you'll be fine. just practice. Hey, it might lose you some weight too! haha.
When i watch people shuffle I notice that when they do the the running man they seem to slide, do people integrate more of sliding instead of more of hoping? If they do hop they hop pretty fast.
Thanks for the tutorial man, but i am struggling with transitioning my running man from two parts to one more fluent motion without just sliding my foot across the ground. Is it supposed to be like that, and if not, are there any tips i should know or does it just take time and practice?
The running man is a two step process. it's more of a hop. you hop halfway back, the another hop all the way back as the other leg comes down. if you do it right and fast, it looks seamless and like its one smooth motion.
I have just been doing 1 move per beat and thought I could shuffle... If I have to do 2 moves it becomes really hard, on psytrance/hard trance xD well, back to practice
Hey it's 2015 are you still teaching Melbourne shuffling? Don't get me wrong I prefer shuffle than other jumpstyle or tecktonic.. hope you make more tutorials
shuffling originated with hardstyle! you can totally od it to happy hardcore/hardstyle, just faster paced, with drum and bass? not so much, the beat doesn't work with it.
