Hey Vintage R/C fans!
In this video we flashback to the late 90's and take Team Losi's Street Weapon to an indoor carpet track to compete against today's Xray Serpent and Associated touring cars. This video outlines all of the changes needed to bring the Weapon platform up to today's racing standards.

Kool man i have a now vintage. I bought a jrxs type R touring sedan back in 2004. I have it set up as a drift build. Got a rocket bunny looking s14 body. Slammed and slightly clambered. Looks very nice and stance and flush. Very kool love your vids.

Very nice video! I happen to have an iwc street weapon that has been collecting dust since I shredded the belts. I just looked for the belts on eBay and they seem to be available. 100% reviving this beast now. Thanks for the info and look forward to update videos!

Great video, over the winter i built 2 Cyrul conversion sw for me and a friend. We both struggled for gearing in 13.5. Was cool to speak to the old racers who hadn't seen a sw for years especially not a Cyrul conversion. Do a video on the xx4 next...

Awesome video! I just picked up a SW IWC edition, and looking to run it in the VTA class at my local track. I am looking to buy some Trinity Circuit Killer Kit. If you know anyone selling a set I would love to get my hands on. Keep up the good work, and please post more videos of this chassis!

Is there a way to id a rc car chassis? I found one that has no motor, esc, or body. It has losi wheels but I'm not really sure if it's a losi or not. I don't know much about them. Would like to rebuild it but I'm not even sure what's missing from it. I think it's belt driven. Only marking on it is "rtr".

I absolutely have! Even bought it already! I mis-spoke at the end of this video when I said I was going to add a "heat sink motor mount" I was trying to say "heat sink mounted fan". Doh! Stay tuned for part 2 of this video with all of the changes performed!
