Projections. We all do it. It's a part of how we interact with the world, especially when we are young. However, there are ways we can become more aware of our own projections and to make sure the concept isn't weaponized to make us more confused than we need to be! Part of shadow work and becoming more emotionally and spiritually aware of our part in this dance of existence! I have had this happen to me this week. With my own narsacistic father. For the first time i stood up for myself and said No , this is not true. This is your truth not mine and i won't accept it. It was very energizing. I am still struggling to fend off people's energy but im getting there. Thankyou Siofra, this helped me so much today

I always knew intuitively that the mirroring principle can't be 100% true. Thanks for articulating that! I really enjoying listening to your experiences and your viewpoints on spiritual topics. Thank you for sharing. When you were talking about the universe not using everyone to communicate with you, this sounds like an issue I have. I don't have many people physically in my life. So when I see people ignore me at work or cut me off while I'm talking, I've taken offense. I have a few friends online. I have a wife and daughter, but I work nights and don't see them all week. So I used to try real hard to find a friend at work. Now I just keep to myself mostly. I try to be content with what I have in front of me at the moment. Thank you again for sharing.

I'm sorry that it can seem lonely when people aren't there for you. This is why I started to communicate with trees (and they with me). Opening myself up to all of the other forms of consciousness that inhabit our world has helped me a great deal and helps with that feeling of being adrift in a sea of people who don't understand who you are and don't "see" you. People are generally self-absorbed and wrapped in their own thoughts and becoming clear takes effort and courage.

Thanks. It's like peacock eyes. Picked it up at a shop north of me (where I've gotten a lot of clothes when I buy something new!). Like the sparkles and the color. Didn't make it myself though!
