years ago when brushless/lipo was new we knew rc was going to get fast, but damn that thing rips! I even like the sound of the tires hitting that thick body.! lmao

I would strap those MX28's. They are known to balloon. Most guys use tape on the inside or line on the outside. I bet it would help a lot . Nice basher though. Love your videos man

If you add the FB group you'll see everyone has that issue they add another plate etc to help

That's badass in my opinion!!! I really like that chassis, it has lots of potential!!! Have you seen the U4RC rigs that Harley Designs & The Scale Builders Guild are having a build off using this platform?

I haven't seen them but I can say this, after driving it a few times after making this video, I'd rather build a Tekno for U4 or anything over this truck. This thing needs some work and I'll most likely order the aluminum bellcrank arm and hope to tighten up the loose steering.

@@ExocagedRC check out Harley Designs, he has fabricated an entire roll cage. It's going to be badass, but yeah, I will be upgrading a ton of parts as I do with everything but I just like this chassis and how it's designed. I think built right it'll hang with the Tekno

I loved it at first but the rear diff ring and pinion c clip keeps popping out and ruining my pinion, I don't recommend this platform and I have replace the front bulkhead 4 because the shock tower keeps snapping .

Looks like fun ! I can't stop thinking about all those shredded wires and blown ESC BEC when that receiver un-glues itself from there and the wires all get chewed up by the pinion, what did they think there !? Fortunately it's an easy fix ! Also, looks like it would benefit from a thicker center diff oil, the front seems to "diff out" when on power. Also an easy fix ! I like easy fixes :D And i guess we'll see a new 3d printed servo saver arm soon too :D

Yeah thicker center diff oil for sure. I’ll have to go back and watch the build video so I remember what’s in there now. LoL. Oh and yeah man their placement of the receiver is not good at all.

Have u drilled the tires for venting? Helps with ballooning.

No I seal mine up, it’s sandy where I am and the sand gets into the tires and causes balance issues. I killed my UDR tires due to sand getting in.

@@rugger8787 Anecdotal, but I've been bashing my Slash for 2 years now. 18 months of that as a MonsterFusion conversion truck. Only ever replaced some A-arms in the front.

They are just bike ramps, check your local Craigslist as most of the time they are almost free on there, just go get them.
