So here we are. I beat Promethean. For the longest time I actually hated this level. The only reason for that being what everyone else had said about it, and me taking that as fact. But then I decided to look further into it, and found out that there's a lot of people who actually enjoyed their time playing it. Then AeonAir beat it and had a really good experience with it. That's when I knew that I had to give it a try. I'm really good at ship after all, and this level is very ship heavy. And so, after beating Yatagarasu I knew I had to go for this. The first few days of me playing this level actually felt like a dream. I was progressing about 10x faster than I expected, having the level in 3 runs in 3 days only! Considering my speed with levels of similar difficulty, and one level that is even 22 spots below it (Ragnarok) was way slower, all that this could mean was that I had the biggest skill boost I've ever had. Progress continued smoothly, despite slowing down. I never really had a bad time with this level at all, not counting some minor frustrations here and there that come with any experience. Because of how this level is balanced, I was getting to around 60% almost every 5 minutes on the last few days of playing, but always died to either the 65% ship or the last ship. And then, after only 7 deaths at the last ship which is considered the hardest part by a lot of people, I beat it. And I had a good experience with it. I'm convinced that Promethean is the most misunderstood level on the list and does not deserve nearly the amount of hate that it gets. It's honestly a very good and very fun level.
So to summarize, really good level that was fun all the way through. If you're good at ship and short levels and good enough to beat main lists I'm convinced you'll have a great time with it. Would definitely recommend.
