Hello Nurse JAR. On my third try, I finally passed the NAC Skills Lab here in Washington State thanks in part to your hard work, genius, charm, and beautiful style in these videos. I am almost 50 years young, and am finally pursuing my passion. I could not have done it without watching your videos and participating with you. Thank you again! God bless you and your family.

Been watching you all month!! This was one of my skills ! Thank you for your help, the only thing is they said that can tell I watched you cause I used too many rags in some of my skills 😂😂😂😂 but I passed both first try ! Officially licensed 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
I'm not a CNA however I watch your videos because I wish to be one of them. May I ask you something, please: You don't need to use gloves or mask in your work place? Thank you for share your knowledge with us! God Bless You!
I have to do the E4 because I didn't work last year I've had my license for 10 yrs the skills/steps this makes me nervous. Just to renew my license I have to do this again😏
Thanks for a tremendous job 👏🏾 👍🏾 🙌🏾 😀 👌🏾 🙏🏾.. Question: dont you need gloves for this skill to take off the dirty linen? Before dressing him up with the shirt???
In 30 yes of cna we never used a privacy blanket. We were lucky to have e towels and washcloths to keep people clean and dry❤ ( not to say nurse Jar isn't correct) because she is. ❤
Hi, Deborah! The Indirect Care Skills or Behaviors are not an exact skill. They pertain to communication, Infection Control, safety, privacy and dignity. During testing, you will be observed, evaluated and scored on these throughout your entire skills ecam.
Hi, Joselyn! If yoy are testing under Prometric, YES, because Prometric scores on Body Mechan8cs. If you are testing under Pearson Vue, NO, because Pearson Vue does not put emphasis on Body Mechanics. Now, with that said, you should use your own judgment, for your comfortability during testing, if you should or should not if you're testing under Pearson Vue. Hope I answered your question!
Nurse jar your an excellent teacher but I notice you handed the patient the call light with dirty hands I was watching another video and she said not to touch the call light until the very end am challenging the board soon so I just want make sure am doing it right
Hi, Brenda! First, you should stick to watching only one training channel!!! When you watch multiple videos by different people, you begin questioning your own competence and how your Instructor trained you to perform skills. To answer your question, it is okay to give the person the call light at the beginning, as long as you do not touch the patient. You want to make sure you wash your hands before making direct contact with the patient. Good luck on your boards! Let me know how you do.
Hi, Sydney! Prometric requires the use of a privacy blanket not only for privacy, but to also help keep the patient warm. Pearson Vue does not require the use of a privacy blanket.
