I passed both tests today on my first try in Florida. This was one of my skills, respiration, and ROM of hip knee ankle. Thank you so much for your videos and teachings.
love your video's , was going to take my skills test tomorrow but just got a call prometric cancelled due to weather, here in Dallas. you know we can't drive on ice. Getting a email tomorrow from prometric to reschedule.. gives me more time to watch your video's .. I did pass the written just skills test left.. Then starting CMA classes on 22nd.. see what's next.. At 53 changing my life goals, I've always wanted to go into nursing field. This pandemic ended my corporate career , I'm very grateful that I worked for a awesome company for 33 years. Going into my new career in Health Care can't wait! :) Good luck to all of us, thanks for the video's and many blessings always.

@@NURSEJAR I tested in Pennsylvania. My first time. My five skills were Blood Pressure, Catheter cleaning, Removing PPE, Denture cleaning, & Hand washing! I SMASHED IT! I followed all of your instructions. Step by step!! I'm so grateful!!!
You are amazing!! I love your videos, you’ve helped me so much. I’m still a student but I’ve passed all of the skills so far from watching your videos and when I take my state test I will be ready. You are an amazing teacher. Thank you so much for making these videos.
Hello Nurse Jar, Your videos have been of great help in learning these skills. I take my CNA Prometric exam on 09/25. They gave me about a week to prepare. Although, I have been an un-certified PCT for about 2 years now. Any key tips for the skills portion of the exam?
Taking mine Dec 14th for 2nd time I ran out of time the furst time. Because of covid everything was done on a mannequin. They had everything set up for each skill and this was my last skill and ran out of time sadly. I'm scared I won't pass

Hi, Tracy! Nope! Unfortunately, the majority of my training videos are demonstrated on the mannequin. However, I do disclose in the video that the skill is to be performed on a live person for testing.
Hi, Macie123! For all measurement and recording skills, you are required to verbalize "washing hands" before recording your results. Always verbalize "washing hands" before verbalizing "skill complete".
Nurse Jar I am taking the exam in a few weeks and I can't thank you enough for all these amazing content. I have a question, do you know if Prometric is testing for feeding and mouth care during these times of covid? Thank you.
I passed my written with a 100%.All question right, but I messed up on the feeding, I got so nervous, I forgot to write the I&O down on the fucking sheet and I forgot the protective cover. All the other skills I got right, ROM, and bed pan with the patient in bed. March 21, 2024 is my only Clinical Exam. Do anyone has anyways or coping ways not to be nerves?? I need help with that area.
Hello Nurse Jar, if I'm taking as a challenger so I'm not going in a class room. Will I know which skills I'm getting before the date of exam or no I have to wait until the exam to find out. Thank you much😊 you're video have been so helpful and you're a true blessing!
@@NURSEJAR Thank you Nurse Jar! My exam is on Saturday. I'm watching all your skills videos and tips and advice on how to prepare for the exam. I'm going to rock this! I will claim it!🤞🏼💪🏼
Hi, Jovan! All oral skills have either been put on hold or has been modified in some fashion. Still practice all skills because there will be no advance notice when these skills will be back on in full effect!!!
Hi, Taylor! As I stated in the video, I'm performing the skill on a mannequin for training purposes only. I did not have a live person available at the time of the taping.
