Hey Dr.Lee I just want to thank you for the videos, I had my cna test today and I passed with flying colors. I watched your videos over and over, and this was one of my skills. I just wanted to get on here and thank you for your teaching.
Hi Dr. Lee! I’m so excited because I passed my clinical skills exam yesterday 6/27/2024!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉I had passive ROM for hip, knee and ankle- measure respirations - dress resident with weak right arm. I did it! I’m a CNA! I’m so thankful for all I learned from you and I’m so excited about embarking on a new career and writing a new chapter of my life. You will always be my inspiration and I want to make you proud. Thank you to you, your sister and Ms. Madison!💗💗💗💗💗amanda💗💗💗
They Dr. Lee I just want to thank you from the bottom of my heart! You’re videos are EXTREMELY helpful. I binged watched your videos for two weeks straight and I passed my CNA exam. I’m based in New York but my test was by Prometric. Again thank you so very much again!
Thank you Dr.Lee, Your channel is one of the best channels to watch n study, I'm currently taking a CNA COURSE, Should be finished with the. Class at the end of this month
Thank you Dr. Lee I have been a CNA since 1998 and I let my certification lapse trying a new field and big mistake... I'm ready to move forward and become the nurse that I know I can be... Thanks
Hi Dr Lee, when performing PROM are we being graded for saying the names of each exercise done like let say flexion when bending the muscles and extension, plantar flexion etc or it is not required ?
Hello, the evaluator is not grading the student by saying the name of the exercise. I teach my students to tell the students what they are doing out of courtesy, and it helps my students remember the skills.
Your videos are sooo helpful! Do you know if this the same as the "ROM for hip and knee"? Arkansas uses Headmasters instead of Prometric and I wasnt sure if this was the same as your video.
Dr. Lee ,first thank you so all your hard work! Secondly, have Oral Care , Denture Care , Special Mouth Care , BP , and Height and Weight been added back to the possibilities for the State Skills for CNA exam in Texas ?
Hello Lisa, as of 4-3-22 feeding, dentures, and brushing the teeth have not been added back. They may be added soon because the Covid rates are decreasing. Blood pressure, height, and weight were NEVER a part of the Prometric skills.
@@cynthiacisneros8695 Hello Cynthia, Prometric will give you two skills that are not written down. They are handwashing and Indirect Care Skills. These two skills are graded with the three skills that you will be told about during your exam. So, you will have three skills on paper, handwashing, and indirect care as your five skills. You are given the following information in the Prometric Clinical Skills Checklist under the Handwashing section: When taking the test, candidates are not given instructions about when to wash their hands. This is because nurse aides are expected to know that their hands should be washed before any physical contact with a resident. Candidates are evaluated on how well they wash their hands (technique) during the first skill. After the first skill is completed, for the remainder of the test, handwashing is evaluated as a part of Indirect Care with the checkpoint, “Use Standard Precautions and Infection Control Measures when providing care.” Handwashing is one of the five skills scored in every Clinical Skills Test
