Prominence Peak 24 | Into the Clouds on McAfee Peak 

Late season, few remaining chances to slide across snow in the Great Basin. Met up with Andrew and Aaron in the mystical northeast corner of Nevada to have a go at McAfee Peak, high point of the Independence Range. Weather was forecasted to be mostly sunny and warm, but instead we were treated to a day of whipping winds, aggressive graupel precip, and low visibility up high. Cut our original route a little short, but still had a good time skiing McAfee and Jacks Peaks.
