Hey Cory, in most areas you can find optional rooms, most of these will have signs on them saying "Storage" or "Utility" Some might even be locked, so you have to find another way round. These contain resources and items to sell in the shop, some even include weapons. One weapon you missed was the Skunk Gun (Pistol Shotgun) back in the basement when you first met the long neck egg enemies. when you get the fuse you needed to take it back to the start to use it on another door. Luckily, the Skunk Gun appears in multiple optional rooms, so you should eventually get it. The Skunk Gun is easily one of the most powerful guns in the game.

What's interesting is Elias says "I know everything about this place" and also "I know someone who can help us", then proceeds to take Jacob to the girl who killed his partner even though she JUST arrived that same day as Jacob. How does Elias know of her capabilities if she just got there?

Cory, a tip is to use the GRP to throw enemies back or into eachother to stun the thrown and hit, and buy you some distance. OR, if you wanna play aggressively, then you can use the GRP to bring them close, because dropping them still stuns, which opens them up for an attack even at close range. Just don’t drop them on even level. The security drones are killable, just make sure you shoot their HEAD and nothing else. Even with your pistol, you can kill them and avoid the whole “stealth game” side of the Terminators. This game’s combat is very much “Think fast, stay alive”. Another tip, Our favorite space horror game Dead Space’s weakness still applies here. Cut off their limbs, or in this case, shoot off their legs. Put a few in one and it’ll severely hinder the advance.

I think 2. And here's my reasoning, Elias wants to help Jacob *because* he needs him. This is a mutually beneficial relationship, he has no reason to mislead you considering that he and *you* both want desperately to get off the prison moon. Also, take note - Elias does actually know a lot about the *old* prison system... but things have changed *drastically* with the new warden taking over recently. Lots of things have changed that Elias isn't aware of because he hasn't *seen* how deep those changes are, or how far they've gone.

Seeing cory being this consistent just makes me happy

i love how sometimes cory doesn’t avoid very slightly mature topics that come up in his commentary, it kinda shows that he doesn’t lean into the kid friendly side too hard and he values the mature members of his audience

and also if you explore a little bit more in different/ hidden rooms, there will be voice recordings before/during the outbreak that kindve explain what’s been happening

I think my favorite detail so far is how Jacob went from having to turn away when digging the device from the guards necks to being able to watch and do it without hesitation.
