How come that this has so few views and comments? :O This is a very cool Run. Only thing is missing in my opinion is you taming the White Unicorn from the College of Winterhold as (I forgot the name Q_Q) "Gandalf's Horse". Quest is called "Creature of Legends" and starts by reading a Note(book) in the Arcaneum, you can then tame it near Riften. 12:10 Hahaha. I just realized that they aren't scripted to appear in Ivarstead. It's just that I always do Klimmek's Quest on taking Supplies to the Greybeards as I'm heading there anyways and Fasttravel back down for the juicy Gold after I've done with the Guys so just to get ambushed by those Cultist in Ivarstead ALL my Life x'D
No, I'm an idiot and bought some creation stuff. I don't have the actual anniversary edition. I probably should though. Buy this game for like the 7th time 😂
@@tsmplays I feel you x'DD But you don't need to buy the whole Anniversary Edition. If you have the Special Edition, you can buy a much cheaper "Anniversary Upgrade". I got mine on a Steam-Sale for like 6€ or something. :D (It's listed on Steam Skyrim Special Edition, under DLC) I bought the Legendary Edition for like 10€back in 2014, the SE for 15€ in 2018 and the AE Upgrade about 1 Year ago for 6€ so if my math is working ~31€ for ALL x'D
I was planning to do a Gandalf playthru myself. I figured the beneficial Ilusion spells would be ok. I mean, helping everybody around him be brave is Gandalf's job.
I played skyrim since 2011 when it came out I honestly never thought about the option to convince Ulfric stormcloak and General taluous to do peace talks
The Staff of Magnus doesnt actually work properly, and never has. It drains the magicka properly, but when it absorbs their HP, it does like 1 or 2 damage per second.
Ganjalf: YOU SHALL PASS that joint. Also. Staff of magnus drains x magicka per sec. Once target has no magicka left it does x health damage per sec. Hope this helps.
You can do other distractions at the thalmor party, but they require doing quests beforehand, involving the npc, and sometimes speech checks (Wasnt sure if this was a joke or not, but wanted to clarify anyway)
The dragon language specifically does this thing called tonal manipulation. This allows it to manipulate the fabric of reality itself. It's also not specific to dragons necessarily. They just have an innate understanding of it, whereas members of the mortal races have to spend multiple years to learn and understand the meaning of even a single word. In fact, Ulfric Stormcloak studied under greybeards for a time and learned a couple of words of unrelenting force. You can theoretically invent brand new shouts by just combining the right words together. A dragon could possibly learn dragonrend if they took the time to much like a human would have to. One more thing. Tamriel is the continent, not the planet. The planet is Nirn. It would be more accurate to say Jeff is in North America.
Gandalf absolutely would be a Master of the Voice. He also should be capable of spells without his staff, but LotR magic is more "soft magic" than TES's "hard magic".
23:20 to be fair, Odahviing doesn't really have much room to move his neck around. What's he supposed to do, angle his neck at 180° and breath fire at the yoke?
the staff of magnus' effect is that it drains magicka first and when the target has no magicka left it starts draining health so when u xwere using the staff u were only draining magicka and not dealing damage great video though :)
That's a good idea. I haven't played Oblivion in YEARS! I can't even remember where you're meant to go 😂 That might be a video in the future. Thanks for sticking around!
I understand that you are doing the movie version of Gandalf The stuff is just something the channels his power through, but I do like your devotion to this fantastic if you ever did the book one he does use words of command. What are very similar to words of you might have found a little bit easier easier
It's more Saruman who has serious power in his voice. And the shouts in game aren't exactly things Gandalf is shown to do. Imagine Gandalf just yelling and the Witch King goes flying out the gates of Minas Tirith 😂
@@tsmplays Didnt Gandalf stopped the Balrog with a command of his voice? He broke Sarumans staff aswell. Its hard to decide WHAT the command of voice can all do, since its a soft Magic System in THe Lord of the rings. But I like to imagine, that the shouts work similar. Its a shouted command. And after all its the language of the dragons. In conclusion ... yeah the witch King should DEFENITELY fly off the gates :D
You are right, it is a very soft magic system. I guess it's up to how you perceive it as I always saw Gandalf's showdown with the Balrog as a show of magical force. He starts by telling it "you cannot pass" as if it's a rule of the world. Then proceeds to shout the greatest fantasy meme ever. "You shall not pass" as if saying i don't care if crossing this bridge is a rule or not, I'm not letting your arse cross this bridge. To summarise. Witch King should be ragdolling out onto Pelannor Fields and the Balrog is such a cool design 😂
I thought for everyone's sake i should let you know that Gandolf does have a ring , it was given to him ,i think by its creator an high elf, a ring of fire? cant remember its name though have to look it up.
What is the point of making a video saying you are playing as Gandalf, and then doing the entire run in first person? You could be a Falmer and I wouldn't know. :/
