Yes, but that would also require a battery. A linkage is so much smaller and simpler than adding a solenoid + wires + battery. And a battery charger would also be needed.
💡The small black tank you see works as a plenum, so the air goes into the plenum through one hole and when the little knob is pulled it releases that air into the barrel, and when the knob is pushed back in it refills the plenum for the next shot, thus continuing the process over and over again until the main tank is empty 👍
@@44Notsofast Typical PCP guns are charged up to 20 MPa. I'm curious about how well a hammerless valve works. Crosman used one on some of their guns decades ago. Today, every vendor choose a hammer, probably because they last much longer due to the lack of sliding rubber parts.
@@propheteyebert7063 I abandoned this idea due to complexity, too many things to go wrong. Went back to hammer-type with force cancelation (I can use soft spring on the hammer) similar to what is on the FX Impact. Simple, repeatable, reliable, low actuation force needed. 30MPa is still 50% more than the typical 20MPa. :)
