I've been diamond or masters the last few seasons, but this season, I can't even get out of silver 3. Spent the last two weeks, grinding up to silver 3 900lp only to lose it all back down to silver 4, then grind back up silver 3 over and over. Matchmaking is actually busted rn

The thing about ranked is that a really good player who just doesn't play it often can be in lower ranks due to that lack of time. Like the first clip for example. I feel like that player could easily hang in a diamond+ lobby and they've probably been there in the past, yet just happened to be in bronze at that time. Personally I get cracked teammates sometimes and encounter really good teams in lower ranked lobbies. Then I start moving up into plat or diamond and get terrible teammates and find enemy players who are clueless (just not as often). If anything ranked is more about your ability to grind and put in the hours over anything else. However with that being said grinding will make you better as long and you're not constantly camping/ratting, so a higher ranked player that fought their way there will reflect what the general skill levels of those lobbies.

I got Predator in season 4, having played since a few weeks after launch, and finally letting my friends talk me into ranked. Haven’t played a ranked season since. We just play regular lobbies and arena.

So how apex's teaming in ranked works is that Apex assigns how good you are on a scale of 1-10 and tries to match make you so that your team is roughly around 15, so great fair. But no, this is some of the dumest systems i'v ever seen because basically if you are a very good player it will match make you with to idiots lol. So when they say that they saw that the teamates of people where bad so that they have to be bad is actually very wrong if we take to account that they play randoms

Yeah pc lobby’s are very different then console pc lobby’s tend to stay alive a lot longer cuz they never fight console lobb’ys the lobby is dead in 5 min but I mean jus cuz sb is decent on console don’t make them pred or jus because they are bad don’t make them bronze I mean that last guy was horrible n you guessed pred no offense but if he was pred I think I’d be the #1 it don’t go off rank anymore if someone if bad they get put in bad lobby’s which everyone of these players lobby’s where horrible

If console is so easy play it kandy. Besides its crossplay no matter what your playing ranked or pubs so how can it be easier on console? Hater!! Not everyone can afford a $8000 PC. Console plays with lower frame rate higher latency so tell me how it's easier. Don't you dare say aim assist because last I checked there is no aim assist setting on my console anymore
