the amount of care and attention to detail put into skate 2's map vs skate 3's is just night and day, it boggles my mind the number of people who would say the latter is the better game in the series.

Awesome video! This is giving me so much nostalgia. I think the biggest mistake in Skate 3 was splitting up the map into 3 parts, felt like there was less to explore

So many dope spots in Skate 2. Perfect balance between realistic spots and skater dream fantasy spots. I always appreciated how in Skate 2, you can bust a line down the entire map, there’s almost 0 wasted space to skateboard compared to Skate 3

Nice edit. It’s weird how a game can bring back so many memories. I was a freshman in high school when it first came out. I used to play skate2 all the time to get out of my head and not stress about school and family bullshit. Just session a spot for hours to get the perfect line. I’m a skate3 fan because of the park editing, but in my mind there will always be something mystical about the first 2 franchises. i remember going for the blunt on that hubba @ 0:24.. man, this video gave me so much bliss. the skate 2 map has much more atmosphere than the 3th. lets hope skate 4 can get the streets right again instead of this empty feeling cartoon world
