Not all drafts are rigged but when they want to push a story or whatever like bron to Cleveland the “hometown” hero or to pay a team back for whatever reason they make sure certain teams get that number 1.
If true then WHY despite being in the lottery a million times since would they not let the top media market NY win again ? In that same time period the Cavs and Magic won like 3x, Minnesota and NOLA 2x. Hell when the Lakers were bad they never won the lottery. This post is just pure speculation….👎

David sterns reason for vetoing the trade was because the trade would have made a hornets a good team but not a title contending team that wouldn't get any where which would decrease the value of the team. It was a huge deal since they were in the process of being sold
Mavs have literally always had a worse pick in the lottery then they should of. Not to mention the year we got Luka we “won” the coin toss to get a higher pick and still ended up behind them.

Look what the Pistons are going through. They played. Often are talent was injured but to do a 28 game losing streak is beyond anyone saying you’re tanking. & imagine if they hadn’t of blown those picks. They could have had Giannis instead of Anthony Bennett lol or cj McCollum. Kawhi over Tristan Thompson. Embiid over Wiggins. Think about McCollum (more logical than Giannis), embiid, Kyrie, AD, kawhi almost all on rookie contracts with lebron.

That's not the only one… In 2018 when Anthony Davis was leaving New Orleans, the league AGAIN gave the Pelicans the first pick so they could get Zion. Last year, when it looked like Pop was going to retire, they sent Wembanyama to San Antonio... and now, it looks like Trae Young wants out of Atlanta, so of course, they gotta give the first pick to the Hawks! Just to name a few that immediately come to mind! 😅

That’s why a lot of these “stars” miraculously happened to take a photo as a kid in a jersey of the team they play for as adults 😂 I feel like most of these players are selected before they can even walk. Thats why you notice in today’s game most players are kids of people who’s played in the league. Or siblings 🤦🏿♂️
