Prop hunt is really fun game mode but not when the seekers can just melee and dash as much as they want to, just like prop hunt in any other game it should have consequences like loosing 5-10HP upon melee or dash otherwise there is no point in creating good hiding places as they can just go and melee everything ESPECIALLY with sound effects being there to reveal their location. Poor execution of the game mode as if they didn't have any references of the game mode from other games (TF2, CS:GO etc.)

This is a fun mode and I hope it becomes a permanent mode but blizzard needs to lower genji melee hitbox and punish who keeps spamming melee...

This is nice and also pathetic. Gamemodes like prop hunt show the extensibility of modding scene of games. In TF2 and in GMOD for example. They do not modify the engine code or add a new gamemode for that. They mod it externally. If blizzard have provided the functionality for workshop be it custom ui icons and elements, spawning props, and changing player models the prop hunt and many other interesting gamemodes would have naturally emerged by itself. A more recent example would be team fortress 2, a decade old game that received an update to include scripting inside maps with the most recent revision. Now they have officially added a custom gamemode made by the community called "Versus saxton hale", of course the gamemode has been around since 2010 but with the built in scripting support now anyone can literally host the map without having to install a bunch of mods. Blizzard is just jingling the key chain trying to get attention.

you can pin your prop midair with the pin/lock button.

Fun fact: you can hide on the water if you lock next to a wall above it :) and no seekers dont respawn so yeah you can literally take one with you when they find you :)

My friends and I quickly figured out that if you go to the enemy spawn and hide high up inside or around it they never generally find you.

My fav trick is to stun, then stay still as the same prop! Voice lined may give it away tho 😂

Used to play prop hunt for hours after school back in the day on modern warfare 2. Brought back some memories. I also love the game code for hide n seek tiny, very like this but you can noclip into walls and ceilings

That start had me dead, now having a controller is a strat though, you can medium walk as a birb ride. That last birb run was Intense haha

I love this game mode so much, it's dumb silly fun and you start doing some really insane hiding spots after a while.

I always check around spawn 🤣 and flower pot is most broken 🤣

this mode is one of the most fun I had with arcade in a long time! We def need more maps for more variety and to avoid a stale meta. I found so many cool tricks and spots already. With a friend you can have incredible strats. I once got an environmental kill from the stun that was amazing haha

Unbelievable how people enjoy this. I mean, if you just played overwatch in the past, its a good mode I guess. Just a really bad prop hunt. I mean, 5 genjis on one kiriko that is voice lining every 2 sec. Balanced

To be fair... playing as a Prop, while streaming is kinda hard, since sadly people will Streamsnipe you i guess xD But great video, very funny and some genius ideas ^^

in the prop hunt servers of Counter strike, human have only 5 hits, you get -20hp each time you missed. That should prevent them to just spamming hits.

I wish it would be a one round game with bigger map, more time limit and penalty for seekers for hitting wrong objects (or a lot more objects instead)

Blizzard patched out the Kiriko melee out of the game mode... one of the fun things about it. Why do they always take away the fun stuff?

The griffin thing works better with a controller, its hilarious when pulled off correctly

The Genjis should not be allowed to just randomly spam melee, they should be punished by loosing health

i hate the prop select and maybe the voice line speeding up on this map plus the E button sometimes not working is annoying. other then that its the most ov fun ive ever had

Going around the track is a console gamer talent since you can actually move at a slower speed.

This game mode captures Blizzard's philosophy so well. We see Kiriko, a woman, turning into props, which are objects, in the map called "Blizzard World". Meaning that women are just objects in an ideal Blizzard working environment, GENIUS!

This gamemode was fun until kiriko's just started spawn camping genji.
