Hey, my ficus microcarpa leaves are having red insect eggs like patches which gets removed when I rub them off...what are these and how to give my plant a permanent solution from this problem?
My ficus cuttings showed good new leaf growth but now the leaves are all drooping I initially had them in cocopeat Shifted to potting mix, still drooping. Please help. I can also send you the pictures
remove the bark from the end of the stem, that you dip in growth stimulant powder. the bark prevents the center of the stem to build roots. think of it as „sharpening the pencil“ to get to the „mine“ in the middle. That middle part is what wants to develop roots....make it easier for the tree! That’s why a lot of people cut in a 45 degree angle - it’s a worse way of increasing the surface to the middle of the tree.
The bigger Microcarpa Ficus Nitida is the parent plant of this, thats y they look different(u can tell by their leaves), the one in this video is like a bonsai version of it or something, i got the parent one and it looks different.
