It does work I have done it but it takes a long time and not all of them root. You can do it with coco peat and some plastic. It took about a year before mine got enough roots to plant. There are some channels which show how to do it, King Chuo is one of them. I think propagatibg from cuttings is best because growing them from seed takes a very long time.
