I’m doing the same. I don’t have any semi hardwood cuttings tho so I’m nervous. I see a lot of propagation for Ming aralia but not Fabian aralia so I’m hoping it’s the same.
This was interesting because I have a very poor record propergating cuttings. I'm currently trying coleus but only got 1 out 20 maybe it's the time of year. I'm trying the next batch in glass of water again! But no roots come out they just rot.
amazing! thanks for documenting this experiment and providing your results. hopefully mine will be successful after learning from this. question: did you achieve better results when leaving a "leaf" attached, or is the bare stem better? Also, did you use the same rooting hormone for each type of wood? Thanks!
I wish you could try some other indoor type plants I have previously failed with like tibuchina, agerterum corbyosom?(The large perennial agerterum) I have tried leaf and soft cuttings no no avail.
