New subscriber here. New tacoma owner too. I bought a used 2021 trd off road this month and it's at 39000 miles. What maintenance should I do to get started?

I used the adhesive backed Velcro strip for my Softtopper and it tragically didn't last long at all I might need to do the rubber wheel on it because goo off and a rag is not working.

I have been thinking about how I can get the turd (TRD) decal off. Such an unfortunate lack of understanding American lingo there.

I'm surprised to see how much residue was left behind. I just parked my tacoma in the sun for about 2 hours on a very hot day and the stickers came right off. Only a very small patch of adhesive didn't get removed which I too used goo gone on, didn't need the rubber eraser wheel at all. I think the temp is key to the adhesive coming off with the sticker, it has to be really hot.

Blowdryer.

I was lucky enough to get mine off with just a hair dryer and goof off. Alltho I did replace the old sticker with a vinyl graphic so I didn't need to get the full removal process. I also did mine in February which I think effected the stickers removal. Most of it came off with the adhesive attached. Luck of the draw sometimes.

I used a clay bar instead of the rubber wheel method same result, the de badged look is a lot cleaner 👍
