Hi, I have drilled a hole in the jclip. I think that’s the best option. I still haven’t come across a jclip that accommodates what you need. Sometimes different styles can help, but I’d say drill a hole.

I assume we’re talking the helmet itself and not the cage. There really isn’t much you can do. I’m sure you have it condensed to the smallest as it goes. Just in case... Depending on model. One you don’t need tools and can just flip the sides open to condense or expand the helmet. The other you’ll need a Phillips screwdriver to loosen the side screws. If the helmet still moves around after the adjustments, maybe you can wear a thin headband to thicken it up. Especially if your skating outdoors on a cold day, a toque/beanie can also keep you warm. You’ll have to expand the helmet if you do that. You’re still growing so depending on how loose the helmet is you may have no choice to go smaller, but if it’s close enough, stick with the medium. As long as the helmet doesn’t flip to cover your eyes, people have made due. Wish I could have been more helpful. Hopefully it works out. Let me know how it goes.

@@elitefdny4215 sorry if I came off a bit of a dick. It's a large ccm 50 with a fm680 medium cage, the chin piece isn't fixed to the bottom of the cage so its much more comfortable

Different makes may make a difference. Bauer bought Itech, and those may work. Also try reversing the 2 top clip portions of the cage, making it lift higher. Just the chin may be a little off. Worth a try. Hope that helps.

Yes. It can be smaller cage if you have a small face. I use an medium helmet with a small cage

J G could be a couple reasons, but mainly it’s j clips on the side. Try raising them, that will bring the cage closer.

i moved them up as high as they would go with two screws. i also tried it with a medium and large cage.

J G Try this, on top of the cage are the 2 plastic swivel pieces in the middle. Flip them so that the screws are below cage. This can help. Hope that makes sense.
