We visited this property as well this year. There are some big issues: 1. the access route - no paved (asphalt) route, be prepare to buy a 4x4 car. 2. The orientation of the slope - north or east, I dont remember exactly, but definitely not south or west, so late afternoon it was already quite dark on the property. 2. The soil is not really good, very sandy and acide. 3. The "house" is disgusting, really, was reconstructed only for dogs, it is like breading boxes, it smells bad, you have to destroy everything. 4. There is a lot of cutting and clearing work on the property, a lot of vegetation, it is almost like a jungle on many places. It is not worth the money, even with the sale price and Remax knows it. We bought somewhere else. Generally the properties in Portugal are over-valuated at the moment, it is a hype
1. Any car can access the property at any time of the year 2.Orientation of the slope is west facing 3. Soil were garden could me made is really good, sandy soil is were the access is 4. There were partition walls build to make it split into more sections, no smell inside whats so ever 5. Yes it is overgrown as I have explained in the video, you are not buying ready to move in property, I do agree that prices are over the roof in Portugal, and it’s due to the foreigners buying them 👍

Exactly.... Overpriced due to foreigners deciding to come and occupy our land not knowing how to buy properties properly. Making the prices sky high, moreover peoples greedyness. And not only the properties. Everything in Portugal especially in touristic places. On top of that most don't work here nor pay taxes here. The government is to lousy and doesn't give a shit. Hopefully it will stop one day soon and will block the entry to people that moan and complain like you that want to come to live here and doesn't bring anything good or richness to the country and keep living here like if you were back in your country. Not even making the effort to learn the language.
I think it's a great buy, it has so much to offer, and look how much you can do in such a short time if you work at it. Your place has changed so much already.👍❤

We loved that property very much. In fact we still do. We visited many times. But remax seems not being interested selling it at all. They never tried to take any action. Now we bought another property. Hope you will get some nice new neighbours. I think it would be very nice having you two as neighbours 😊

I've been watching several Portugal property for sale channels, and yours is my FIRST to comment on. I have to say, your neighbors land is from what I see, arguably the nicest I've viewed, and at a fair price. Such diversity in vegetation, good water, good soil, gorgeous rock formations, quiet, etc. etc. Also appears to be low fire hazard area. (I don't your proximity to villages etc. as I haven't watched any of your previous videos). The property truly has great potential to the right buyer. And maybe best of all, great neighbors ! Makes me wish my circumstances were different. Most important! Your presentation of the property is honest and not full of BS , and apparent miss truths, that other channel vloggers are doing to try and sell (obviously) undesirable properties. Hi, we are not property for sale channel, we are just looking for good neighbors 😁😁soil quality is same as on our land, on the top is sandy, on the bottom is good for the garden, nearest village 10-15 min walk away 👍😁 how is life in Phillipines?
Life here is different for sure. Built a house in the mountains with a beautiful ocean overlook view. But not near as peaceful as you have it. People, motorcycles etc. Quality food very hard to buy, Planning a garden, but the weather not conducive for most vegetables. Interestingly, buying land here (only in a Philippine citizens name) has all the same type problems and lengthy processes that you have there. And, the neighbors are not that great, 😒 But all in all, life is good. I will continue to enjoy your channel :) @@portugalitis

May I ask what part of town in Portugal. Also could you live in the property or for farming only. Many farms in Portugal for sale for farming only and people misunderstood. This one doesn't has permit. Kind of scary to buy over sea property and you not sure abour it. Maybe that's why didn't sale? I do love the farm! You did a great job sir! Problem is that lots of foreigners are moving in and obviously the prices are rising, it is very unlikely you will find something for €1 sq meter nowadays, most of the properties are being sold via estate agents, well unless you will find a private sale and even then I really doubted it 🙂

No idea, probably because of the cost, they are so impractical, sun warms them up so much in the summer, we will be changing ours as soon as the house is done 👍

Why don't u and ur wife buy this property to go with urs and live on this property and fix and have urs as a rental property for income..Or offer urs to someone as part of working for u to raise more gardens and to harvest olives and plant more fruit trees to sell..😊
