Property Information Form (5th Ed) 

In this Conveyancing Matters chat, Stu and Lorraine return to the on going saga of the Law Society's update of the Property Information Form (5th ed)
They talked about it a couple of months ago - but since then, things have moved on - the Law Society has told CQS firms that use of the new form is not compulsory until January 2025 and the Law Society has faced a vote of no confidence due to their handling of the issue
This is not just an updated form - it shifts the emphasis of a conveyancing transaction dramatically and many practitioners feel that it opens sellers up to an increased risk of misrepresentation
