Great job with this video, Craig. You helped me out in 2022. I went in front of the 3-member board and convinced two members that my assessment was correct and the market value was adjusted to what I wanted. That was all because of your guidance throughout this process. Not know this process is very intimidating, but is really much easier after you've gone through it. The one piece of advice I can give is if you protest in front of a single-member, that person really represents TCAD whereas the three-member board is made up of "everyday Joes" who will be more sympathetic to your situation if it's truly unfair. That was the case for me. The single member reduced my value a little bit, but then the three-member board reduced it to the amount I felt was fair. You helped with my evidence and it paid off. I paid $244k for my house December 2019 and now they want to tax me on $344k! There's no way my home value has jumped that much in just 4 years. I've made 0 improvements. This is McAllen in Hidalgo County. I also have homestead exemption since 2020.
